Ozark Daylily Society
The Ozark Daylily Society adopted and their many volunteers are responsible for the Daylily Garden in Close Memorial Park. Subsequently the Daylily Garden has developed into one of the finest daylily displays in the nation. Two of the Ozark Daylily Society volunteers, Frieda Alexander and Cliff Garland, have teamed with Wal-Mart to provide over $2000 in VAP (Volunteerism Always Pays) community grants for their volunteer commitment to the Daylily Garden.
